The Light/ heavy recovery operation class is designed to equip the public safety diver to safely augment recovery of vehicles and any salvage that requires recovery. In many instances assisting wrecker companies recovering vehicles from the water, provides 1) collecting and saving evidence and 2) provides safety and security for the wrecker companies. Also, sometimes a team may be called on to recover large boats sunk in dangerous traffic areas.
